About
BADHI is a joint effort among Australian and Indonesian academics who believe that current and future digital technology offers opportunities to improve the preservation and utilisation of Bali's cultural heritage for social good.
Projects
BADHI's projects focus on bringing positive impacts to Balinese. Our projects encompass both tangible and intangible aspects of Balinese culture. Our current focus is on the preservation of temples and lontar manuscripts.

Temples Digital Archiving
Community participation and advanced 3D reconstruction to archive Balinese temples.
This project is funded by the Whyte Fund Monash University.
Lontar
Advanced machine learning to safeguard and interpret the knowledge contained in traditional Balinese palm leaf manuscripts.
